What Time Does The Gentlemen Season 2 Come Out on Netflix?


 


The Gentlemen is almost back on Netflix.

Season 2 of Guy Ritchie’s crime comedy premieres Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, with Theo James and Kaya Scodelario returning as Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass.

Netflix has not announced a special release time specifically for The Gentlemen Season 2. Under Netflix’s standard release schedule for its original shows, new seasons typically become available globally at 12 a.m. Pacific Time on their release date.

For U.S. viewers, that means Season 2 should normally become available at 3 a.m. Eastern Time on Sept. 3, unless Netflix assigns the series a different launch time.

Instead of trying to escape the business, Eddie now wants to expand it.

Netflix says Eddie and Susie have spent the past year working together in Bobby Glass’ criminal empire. Their operation is expanding internationally, including into Italy, while Bobby’s decisions increasingly raise concerns.

That leaves Eddie and Susie deciding how far they are prepared to go as their ambitions grow.

Netflix’s preview also indicates that Season 2 will move beyond the English countryside and into locations around the Italian lakes.

Several major Season 1 cast members return.

New cast members include Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto and Maya Jama.

Guy Ritchie remains the creator and is among the directors and writers working on the second season.

Do You Need to Watch Season 1 First?

It would help.

Season 2 continues the relationships and criminal operation established during the first eight episodes rather than starting a separate story with completely new characters.

The first season explains how Eddie inherits the Halstead estate, meets Susie and gradually becomes involved with the Glass family’s business.

By the end of Season 1, Eddie’s relationship with the criminal operation has changed considerably from where it began.

Because Season 2 jumps forward about a year and builds directly on those developments, new viewers will understand more of the character dynamics by watching Season 1 first.

If you have already seen it but do not remember every detail, a complete rewatch may not be necessary. Remembering the relationship between Eddie, Susie and Bobby is likely to be the most useful preparation.

Is The Gentlemen Season 3 Happening?

Yes.

Netflix has already renewed The Gentlemen for Season 3, unusually announcing the renewal before Season 2 even premiered.

Netflix confirmed the third season in August.

There is no Season 3 release date yet, and Netflix has not revealed detailed story information for the next chapter.

For now, the focus is on Season 2.
