Walmart’s strange-but-popular Rotisserie Chicken Purse is getting another chance after its first release sold out quickly.
As of Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, Walmart’s official Spark Shop product page says the $5.97 Traditional Chicken Purse can be preordered, with shipping expected in early December.
A preorder notice also appears on the Lemon Pepper version of the purse.
That is a significant change from the original limited drop, which sold out online shortly after launching Sept. 1.

The Rotisserie Chicken Purse is sold through Spark Shop, Walmart’s official merchandise store.

The company also tied the idea to the oversized clutch trend.

Is This Sold in Regular Walmart Stores?
Do not assume it is.
Walmart’s original announcement specified SparkShop.com and the Spark Shop at the Walmart Welcome Center in Bentonville as the places carrying the collection.
That is different from saying thousands of Walmart Supercenters nationwide will stock it.
If you see the purse online from another seller, check the price carefully.
After the first release sold out, resale listings appeared at substantially higher prices.
